DFS Provider Spotlight : Draft_Manager

Question 1: Who is @draft_manager?

“We’re a group of ex-poker players who got into DFS about 3.5 years ago. We decided to take the skills we had from playing poker professionally into the DFS market. We knew there would be a lot of providers out there and we wanted to be a provider that wouldn’t hold anything back. A lot of other sites promote their pro DFS players, but those sites hold back on information given. We give out the exact information and projections that we use to play for a living.”

Question 2: How did you get started with DFS?

“After online poker left the United States market, this seemed like the next logical choice, having a background in gambling, game theory and statistics it was an easy and obvious jump for us.”

Question 3: What makes @draft_manager different from other providers?

“The most popular sites have had problems with their pros giving out information on “must plays” and then you’ll see their lineups and they don’t contain their “must plays.” This leads to distrust. We put out tools and lineups and you can see that we play those exact same players in our lineups. We’ve chopped several large GPP’s with our users because they get the same information we get. We knew that eventually the market would be saturated with information, we wanted to be one of the first to provide solid trust worthy information.”

Question 4: How is your overall record either one or multiple sports since the beginning of the year ?

“That’s a complex question with a lot of answers. “

RECORD (WIN – LOSS) : 218,269 – 169,838

WINNINGS : $7,359,802.01

“That’s lifetime on FanDuel, so you can see we play a pretty high volume. We won at about 64% head to head in NBA, 62% in NFL this season, and We’re currently at 58% in MLB.”

Question 5: Do you have any success stories or big wins playing DFS?

“We’ve made some live finals before, specifically two entries into the FD live finals for MLB. We finished 11th in that for 55k,  but have had several 5 figure scores in various GPP’s. We use a kelly criterion method to maximize our profits and bankroll.”

Question 6: How can people get ahold of @draft_manager on social media?

“We’re on facebook and instagram (Draftmanager) and you mentioned our twitter handle. We always offer a week or two free for anyone that wants to test our products out. We’re pretty quick to reply and help our customers.”

Provider Tip:

“I wrote this article a few months ago. I think the biggest thing is to have realistic expectations and to understand which contests are profitable and which ones aren’t. People often come to us and think that they’ll play one lineup in a GPP and if it doesn’t cash that it’s no good. DFS is a grind, and you have to push small edges. The article is a really good read for new and experienced players.”

Question 2: How did you get started with DFS?

“Me personally (MLBfeastmode) I started just because my partner told me about it. I pondered a bit and then decided why not try it? So I started messing around and quickly figured out that research is very very vital or else you won’t last very long playing this”

Question 3: What makes @dynamiDFS different from other providers?

“I think what makes us different is our culture. We’re very interactive with our followers and we offer help with issues they may have wen creating. We want to keep this humorous and fun to make it a cool page to follow while also receiving lineups and insight”

“Currently we are 11-2 in the young baseball season and we finished the NBA regular season at 33-17. We were not providing for NFL.”

Question 5: Do you have any success stories or big wins playing DFS?

“We went streaking in NBA for 6 straight days and on the 6th day we took down 3 GPPS, quins, and all cash games. In MLB a few days ago, our lineup was doing outstanding and we had one last at bat from Bryce Harper with two runners on the bag, he ended up hitting a walk off homer and gave us HUGE wins that night. These stories both happened within the last month as well.”

Question 6: How can people get a hold of you on social media?

“Everyone is always welcome to direct message us as they are open to anyone and we also reply to tweet mentions”

DFS Provider Showcase : SrirachaDFS

Is it hot in here or is it Sriracha?

With MLB opening day upon us, my twitter feed was blowing up with providers being excited about their lineups, one in particular caught my eye, @SrirachaDFS. Tristan and his brother Bailey gave me a few minutes to sit down and ask the tough questions that everyone wants answers to.

Question 1: Who is SrirachaDFS

SrirachaDFS is a company that was brought up by me, Tristan Bui, in collaboration with my brother Bailey. He does a lot for us, and is not nearly known for it. So to my bro, thanks for all you’ve done for this company and let’s keep rolling.”

Question 2: How did you get started with DFS?

“We got started with DFS around two years ago. We were two huge sports fans in general, and once I got on board with FanDuel, my brother did too. From then we ended up playing DFS on DK, FD, and now even Yahoo. We only provide for FD and sometimes DK at the moment, but hope to do the other sites soon. I feel like it made the game more fun to watch.”

Question 3: What makes @SrirachaDFS different from other providers?

“What makes us different from other providers is that when we lose, we’re not afraid to say it. We know we gonna get it back the next day and if not the next… and DFS is skill but a lot of luck too. So if things don’t go one way on a day, we try to look forward to the next. No slouching, just researching. Plus we put a lot of effort into our craft/research a night, don’t think we just make a line within an hour.”

Question 4: How is your overall record either one or multiple sports since the beginning of the year ?

“The record is posted in our twitter bio, we’re 74-50 in NBA right now… and our MLB record is currently 1-1 if you count the Sunday slate. We just had a big win today though, bless.”

Question 5: Do you have any success stories or big wins in DFS?

There is one success story.. Last year, Lakers partnered up with FanDuel to create contests that had payouts in the form of tickets, memorabilia, and LA practice tours. We actually took down one of those contests, and we won a Lakers 2015-2016 Team signed ball that has Kobe’s signature from his last year. I treasure this thing and it’s probably the biggest win from DFS that we’ve had.”

Question 6: How can people get ahold of you on social media?

You can get ahold of us on social media through twitter, our handle is @SrirachaDFS and we can handle any of your needs/questions through our direct messages or just @ us! “

Provider Tip:

“Always trust your gut and don’t change your picks on just what one person says. Oh, also.. Hit us up and you won’t regret it.”

DFS Provider Spotlight : HotCornerDFS

This week, I had the unique pleasure to interview a relatively new provider who goes by the twitter handle @HotCornerDFS. After going through the questions, I asked @HotCornerDFS to leave a provider tip and again, it’s one of the best tips any provider can give you!

Question 1: Who is @HotCornerDFS ?

“I am a provider who values my customers their bankroll. I like to think of all of my subs as friends, as I pride myself on those personal connections I have with them!”

Question 2: What makes you different from other providers?

“As I said before, I really think that my connection with my subs really sets me apart from other providers. I care about my customers well being and genuinely want them to profit.”

Question 3: How is your overall record either one or multiple sports since the beginning of the year?

“In NBA we have gone 44-27 so far which is approximately a 62% cash rate. I don’t have my official record from last years MLB but it was around 65-70%”

Question 4: Do you have any success stories or big wins playing DFS ?

“I’m still waiting on that big 5 digit win but we have had a couple of very solid nights this past NBA season”

Question 5: How can people get ahold of you on social media ?

“If you need to get in touch with me, please DM me @HotCornerDFS , I’m also on Instagram @HotCornerDFS.”

Provider Tip :

“My #1 tip is bankroll management. The most someone should be betting daily is 10% of their bankroll, and I highly recommend putting 70-75% of that into cash games as well. It may not be the “sexy” thing to do but Return on Investment is what we all want!”

DFS Provider Spotlight: DFS_Dynasty

Welcome to our 2nd DFS Provider Spotlight here on Forwardmile. While walking around the Comcast Center in College Park, Maryland for the DFS Provider Convention, I had the great privilege of running into Jesse of twitter handle @DFS_Dynasty and sat down him to ask a few questions and talk sports.

Question 1: Who is DFS_Dynasty

“I’m Jesse from small town Minnesota. Started playing DFS about 2.5 years ago. I got into it from a friend begging to let him refer me.”

Question 2: How did you get started with DFS?

“I started DFSDynasty after working with another provider whose name I’ll leave out, but he taught me a TON about the business and I still consult him occasionally.”

Question 3: What makes DFS_Dynasty different from other providers?

“Hmm that’s a great question. It’s hard to be different when there seems to be providers everywhere you look, But I feel our consistent PGA, NHL, and some E-Sports puts us in a niche more then others. I try to be available 24/7 for anyone who has any questions, and actually encourage people who are new to ask as much as they need too. I feel learning how to play is very important and is half the battle of a subscriber becoming profitable.”

Question 4: How is your overall record either one or multiple sports since the beginning of the year?

“Ok, so I’m currently 112-59 since adding Nhl at the beginning of January. and have a 18-4 PGA record since I started the site around October. Haven’t kept a good enough record on NBA but plan on doing so at the end of the season. I also starting a pinned thread on twitter so we could track every night something’s cashing.”

Question 5: Do you have any success stories or big wins playing DFS ?

“Nothing concrete for me, but I taught a close friend how to play FanDuel MLB and he was just crazy reckless in betting. Bankroll management didn’t exist to him he’d make gpps based on the strangest things. He ended up taking home 22.5k one night! I have taken down gpps in later slates mass entering quarters but I’m still waiting for that 5 digit win. It is cool turning a quarter into $100-$200 though.”

Question 6: How can people get ahold of you on social media?

“Our DM is always open through: https://Twitter.com/DFS_Dynasty or tweet @DFS_Dynasty and we usually have a quick response time.”

Provider Tip from DFS_Dynasty:

“Become a legitimate business if you’re going to be providing lineups. Its super easy to do with sites like legal zoom. You can’t set up a company through Twitter. Don’t go into people’s DMs with automated messages or even any messages. Let the customers come to you and be as positive as you can as well as understanding, we believe heavily in karma, and are always trying to pass good vibes.”

EXTRA: DFS_Dynasty has entered the 2016-2017 #DFSProviderShowcase , watch for him in the tournament when that gets started within the next week or so.
