We are only two months away from the NHL regular season getting under way, as the first official puck drop will take place Wednesday, Oct. 4. It will be a four-game slate, highlighted by the Pittsburgh Penguins raising their fifth Stanley Cup championship banner as they take on the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena.
While two months in advance is premature for some to be ranking players for the upcoming season, we here at Fan Forecast believe that the more proactive you are in your research the better you will do in your fantasy leagues. Armaan Kaler (DFS Manu) and I have teamed up to give you Fan Forecast’s Season-Long Fantasy Hockey Rankings. Below you will see the rankings for the Left Wing position as of August, criteria and other information can be found at the bottom of the article.
|15||James van Riemsdyk||TOR||LW||16||17||16.5|
Other’s Receiving Votes:
Matthew Tkachuk, CGY
Tanner Pearson, LA
Robby Fabbri, STL
Jakub Vrana, WSH
A combination of Nick Olson and DFS Manu’s rankings gave the average of where each player landed on the list. If one player was unranked he was moved to the bottom of the list without an average. The highest ranking that player received determined the order that they were ranked.
