Value Vault 7/21/17

Happy Friday to everybody! DFS_JDM here again to give you some of my value plays that will cost you 3K on Fanduel and below on this huge 14 game slate. Let me start off by saying you will need a lot of value bats tonight since we have the likes of Sale, Scherzer, Wood, Darvish and Nola all pitching tonight. So if you plan on paying up for pitcher tonight which i would totally recommend you will need to plug in some value bats and that’s where i can provide a little insight for you guys!

Brian McCann (2,700) – Probably my favorite value catcher tonight and gets to face gas can Ubaldo Jimenez in Camden Yards. Jimenez has a 34.7 HC% and a 20.6 HR/FB% and McCann has a .146 ISO and .297 wOBA also a 31.1 HC%.

Salvador Perez (2,900) – This price tag for Perez is just disrespectful! And he gets to face James Shields in most likely a hot and humid Kaufman Staduim. 40.3 HC% for Perez and a 41.7 FB%.

J.T. Realmuto (2,800) – Nothing sexy about Realmuto but up against Homer Bailey i can make a case on rostering him.

Yoan Moncada (2,500) – The top minor league prospect has finally made his way to the majors and for just 2.5K on Fanduel i would guess with the pitching options tonight he is going to be super chalky.

Whit Merrifield (3,000) – Whit has solidified his lead-off spot in the Royals line-up again facing James Shields in Kaufman which the ball should be jumping there tonight. Also a great candidate to swipe some bags.

Colin Moran (2,000) – 18 HR’s in the minors finally got the call up. Make sure he is in the lineup tonight. Straight punt option to get top tier pitcher and other big bats.

Wilmer Difo / Stephen Drew (2,500 / 2,300) –  Whoever is playing SS tonight would be my guy tonight on a value stand point. Hopefully hitting 2nd in the order and facing Nolasco who has shown to get roughed up this season.

Marcus Semien (2,300) – Again not the sexiest of plays but if Semien is hitting 2nd in the order and we get a bad Steven Matz again i could see him giving us some great value at the SS position.

Odubel Herrera (2,900) – Dude has been red hot of lately and also gives you the SB potential and he gets to face Matt Garza who isn’t good.

Josh Reddick (2,900) – Reddick probably my favorite value Outfielder tonight facing Ubaldo Jimenez who should be hitting 3rd in the Astros lineup.

Jim Adduci (2,000) – Make sure he is in the line-up tonight but i think he plays vs the RHP Ervin Santana. And Target field has been a great place to hit in this year.

Nick Williams (3,000) – Just like his teammate above Williams has been scorching hot of late. Should be hitting at the top of the line-up.
