NBA Value Vault – 3/22

What’s going on guys?! It’s been a minutes since I’ve been able to write because of school and work. But, my schedule is clearing up so I should be able to write more consistently for the up coming weeks. As far as tonight’s eight game slate. Two of the eight games have double digit  spreads (OKC -11.5 and UTA -11.5). There’s quite a bit of value tonight on the slate so let’s dive into it.

Rajon Rondo $5,400- Do yourself a favor and plug Rondo into your line right now. First off the Bulls are playing the Pistons and they have no defensive point guards. Rondo will tear up Reggie Jackson and Ish Smith. Second, Rondo has been getting a lot of minutes lately. Of the last five games Rondo has played more than 30 minutes in four of those games. In those games Rondo has hit 35 fps in three of those games. For his price Rondo makes for some great value tonight, he only needs 27 fps to hit value.

KCP $4,700- KCP is one of those guys that has a high ceiling , but never plays fully to his potential. The game he does, no one ever has him… But, his price is really nice tonight and he has a great chance of hitting value. KCP plays a ton of minutes  every night and his last two games he scored 27 fps or more. Those games were against PHO and BKN. Both are opponents similar to CHI tonight, so I believe he can get the job done tonight with Denzel Valentine defense.

Frank Kaminsky $5,700- Frank is an interesting pivot at the PF position tonight. I think Ersan Ilyasova and Tobias Harris will be chalky. Kaminsky has played in 30 or more minutes in his last three games scoring 22 or more fps in each game. He gets a nice match-up with the ORL front court tonight and will be in solid shape no matter what. He does need 28.5 fps to hit value, but tonight I have a feeling about a chalky PF throwing up a dud and in that case we can look to Frank for some consistency.

Steven Adams $4,900- As Sean Kane and Josh Fernandez say always play a value PG and C when you can. Well Adams is your guy tonight, he is in a great spot to score and get quite a few rebounds. He needs just under 25 fps to hit value and honestly I don’t think he will be very chalky. I think people will pay up at C tonight with Drummond and Gobert in nice spots. He had a 40 fps out break the other night and a 8 fps dud in his last game, but PHI front court is in shambles and I see Adams having a great game.
