Hey guys, I took a couple days off of writing articles to reflect. Writing value plays has been really exciting but, at times disappointing if a player doesn’t show up. That’s why I want to change the format of things. I will be writing about 4-5 players per article and theses are players that you should seriously consider rostering. These plays will be in no specific order and could potentially be chalky but, they are guys that I don’t think you should miss out on.
For today there are couple of players matched together because of injuries and their prices make both players worth a shot.
1.Austin Rivers $5,400/ Raymond Felton $4,900– Both players have been very consistent since Chris Paul went down with a hand injury. Rivers has a higher ceiling as shown last game against ATL with 36.8 FD points. Felton is very consistent himself and he comes in at a $500 discount. Both have been playing 30 plus minutes a night and have a juicy match-up tonight with the 76ers. Embiid will be out and Blake Griffin is probable to return so some usages will go down but, these 2 are a solid play for tonight.
2.Patty Mills $3,900/ Dejounte Murray $3,800– If Tony Parker is ruled out again which I suspect he will be, both of these guys are worth a look. Patty Mills has really taken advantage of Parker being out even with Murray starting. In his last 2 games he’s hit 24.1 and 25.6 which comes in at 6x value. That’s exactly what you need to roster the big stars and win some cash. Murray on the other hand has been a question mark since taking over for Parker. His ceiling is much higher but, since starting off in the first game with 30.4 FD points he’s gone down each game to 23.4 and 13.7. Mills is more of a play for me but, with PG being so deep I can see how Murray might be rostered more because he’s a SG.
3.Markieff Morris $6,400– Kieff has been ballin’ lately!!! He’s gone over 31 FD points in 7/10 games including 33.8 FD points against BOS who the Wizards are playing tonight. This game is going to be intense because of the scuffle between Wall and Crowder at the end of the last game so I expect this game to be very close and have the energy of a playoff game. Morris will come to play and hit 30 plus FD points again.
4. David Lee $5,100– Since Pau Gasol went down with a hand injury Lee has filled in nicely for the Spurs and even though he didn’t start last night he hit value. Lee has gone over 27 FD points in his last 3 games and LMA might sit tonight which would be a bump to Lee. Even if he doesn’t I can see this game being close and Lee will benefit from that.
5. George Hill $6,300– Hill comes in at a good price against Denver which defends PG’s poorly. I like this play not only because of the match-up but, Hill has a high ceiling which is shown 2 games ago against his former team IND where he had 45.7 FD points. Although he had a poor game last time out (17.9 FD points) I think he’s in a good spot tonight
