NBA GPP Advice for Thursday, December 1st

Happy December! Hopefully you guys caught on and faded the Philly/SAC game last night. I had lineups with both embiid and cousins and was forced to scramble to change my lineups, but it worked out and I easily got back in the green last night. There are tons of injuries already being reported and lots of solid value plays again tonight. As usual, I will list a stud and a value play I like at each position. Any lineup questions I am on twitter, @MonstarsDFS.

Point Guard

Chris Paul @ CLE $9100

I’m rolling with CP3 tonight for gpp. He should be lower owned than Curry but actually has a better matchup on paper. Point Guards against Patrick Beverly have yet to hit value since he’s returned and aside from that, point guards have had success against the Cavs. The over/under at 215 suggests Paul should be able to hit his value tonight.

Andrew Harrison vs ORL $3900

Harrison started for the injured Mike Conley last night and easily crushed his value scoring 33.4 FD points. The Grizzlies have several players out tonight again and Harrison should once again see 35 minutes and easily hit his value again. He is a cash game lock tonight, and I also want exposure to him in tournaments.

Shooting Guard

Giannis Antetokounmpo @ BKN $10300

I’d rather save the extra $1000 and roll with Giannis instead of Harden tonight. The Greek Freak is emerging as a star and contributes to every stat category night in and night out. His ability to block shots and swipe multiple steals a game on top of averaging impressive points, rebounds and assists has put him into the “Elite” category in DFS. He gets a cup cake matchup against the Nets tonight and could be in line for another monster night.

Wayne Ellington @ UTA $4000

The matchup isn’t ideal against a good defensive team in the Jazz. However, the Heat are without Josh Richardson and Dion Waiters tonight, which should open the door for Ellington. Last night against Denver he played 32 minutes and dropped 22 points and was good for 34 FD points. If you want so save at the SG position, look at Ellington.

Small Forward

LeBron James vs LAC $9700

After a dud against the Bucks, LeBron’s price has dropped back under 10k and I want some exposure to him tonight. With his skill set, it isn’t that hard for the King to hit his value. Look for a bounce back game from him tonight.

Bojan Bogdanovic vs MIL $4200

Last time against the Bucks, Bojan torched them and had his season best DFS game. I think people will point chase Kilpatrick tonight at SG and fade Bojan at SF, making me tempted to roster him in GPP tonight. The Bucks rank fifth last against SF and Bojan could be in for another solid night.

Power Forward

Draymond Green vs HOU $7700

I need some exposure to this game with the over/under sitting at a ridiculous 230 right now. Like Giannis and LeBron, Draymond can stuff the stat sheet and a track meet like tonight’s game should help that out. His ceiling is higher than most nights and for $7700 I want some exposure to him tonight.

JaMychal Green vs ORL $4400

Here is another cheap Grizzly I want to lock into my lines tonight. Zach Randolph has been ruled out again tonight which keeps Green’s upside extremely high for only $4400. As long as he plays his expected 30+ minutes, he should easily crush value again tonight against the Magic.

Brook Lopez vs MIL $7300

For cash I’d rather pay up for Whiteside or roll with Gobert. But from a GPP standpoint, I like Lopez tonight against the Bucks who don’t defend the Center position well and at times really struggle to rebound.

Salah Mejri @ CHA $3500

Total GPP play here, but Andrew Bogut has been ruled out tonight and Mejri should start at Center tonight. The last time Bogut and Dirk were out, Mejri played 32 minutes against the Spurs and dropped 30 FD points. He’s the minimum price at $3500, but has potential to exceed value given the fact that he should play around 20 minutes tonight.

Hopefully this helps you find some guys you want to plug into your tournaments tonight. Good Luck!
