NBA GPP Advice For Tuesday, November 22nd

Thank you John Wall and Bradley Beal! 100 Fanduel points between the two of them carried me to an EIGHTH straight night of cashing GPP. My longest win streak for cash is 11 straight nights so the fact that gpp is approaching that is crazy. I’ll look to stay hot tonight but we only have a 4 game slate so anything can happen. As usual, I’ll list a stud and a value play I like at each position. I’m off work until Friday for Thanksgiving week so if you have any questions I’ll be active on twitter, @MonstarsDFS.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook @ LAL $11800

Westbrook is approaching 12k but he’s a must play in a 4 game slate tonight for cash and gpp. Fade him and you might as well throw your money out tonight. He’s averaging a triple double through 15 games, so it’s pretty safe to say that his floor is basically a triple double. You want and need him tonight against the Lakers, who give up 110 ppg.

Rajon Rondo @ DEN $5700

Rondo has had back to back solid games and he’s finally starting to get his assist numbers up like we are used to. He gets an awesome matchup tonight against the Nuggets who give up the third most FD points to point guards, averaging 47 FD ppg to opposing point guards. I think we should expect similar numbers from Rondo again tonight, which would be hitting 6X value.

Shooting Guard

Dwyane Wade @ DEN $6700

Shooting guard looks pretty thin and dry tonight so I’m going to throw out the safest option even for GPP tonight. Wade got Sunday off for rest, so expect him to be fresh and to play a large sum of minutes tonight against the Nuggets, who rank dead last against shooting guards for FD scoring. I’m in favor of rostering both Rondo and Wade against the Nuggets soft backcourt.

Victor Oladipo @ LAL $5900

Fire up Oladipo again tonight. He’s had three straight games of hitting value and gets an up-tempo matchup against the Lakers tonight. He’s playing heavy minutes and the points should be there again for him. Expect around 30 FD points tonight which would be over value and upside that carries close to 7X value.

Small Forward

Carmelo Anthony vs POR $7900

Melo is projected for the most points at SF tonight and he’s $600 cheaper than Jimmy Butler. While the projections aren’t always completely accurate, its a good indication that you don’t need to spend extra money on Butler for tonight’s slate. Portland really struggles defensively, averaging 112 ppg. Look for Anthony to have a good night offensively and hopefully he can contribute in other categories too.

Kent Bazemore vs NO $4900

Bazemore has been silently hitting value almost every night and actually has a bunch of 30+ FD games in the last 10. He’s consistently seeing 30 minutes a night and should continue to hit close to value or exceed it given the workload.

Power Forward

Kristaps Porzingis vs POR $7200

The big man my friends and I simply call “Zingis” gets a great matchup tonight against the Blazers who rank dead last against power forwards, allowing almost 50 FD points per game against opposing power forwards. Over his last 5 games, Zingis is averaging 36 FD points per game. His value puts him around 28 FD points tonight, but I fully expect the big man to score more than that.

Kenneth Faried vs CHI $6000

It sucks Faried consistently only sees 25 minutes a game. But it’s nice that he is capable of having crazy good numbers with limited minutes. It seems like he either goes for 6 points and 6 rebounds, or else he goes for 15 and 15. If he does the latter, you’re in for a treat as he should be low owned. I’m only risking him in GPP tonight because of his inconsistency in production.

Dwight Howard vs NO $7900

Tonight there is Dwight Howard, and then theres a bunch of cheap, inconsistent centers. If you want the safest play, Howard is your guy. Nobody is projected close to his production tonight and the prices are a clear indicator of that. I plan on finding value somewhere else though and saving the money at the position tonight.

Timofey Mozgov vs OKC $3600

I’m seeing projections that have Mozgov hitting 6X his value tonight which is around 20 FD points. If you save the money here and he hits value, your lineup should look really good. The problem is that he is more than capable of laying a complete dud and also ruining your lineup. I’m intrigued with his projection enough to have some exposure to him in tournaments tonight.

Hopefully this article helps you guys out, and hopefully my streak can hit 9 tonight! Good luck DFS nation.
