Fanduel Advice for NFL Week 7

Hola amigos, tonight I am going to be nervously watching Aaron Rodgers in hopes he doesn’t make some terrible throws or have some horrible turnovers. Never thought I’d see the day where I’d sit down and actually type that sentence out, but it just happened. There is an interesting Thursday-Sun AM only slate that I will not be focusing on in this article, but if you have any questions you can contact me via twitter @MonstarsDFS

Cash Goat: Matt Ryan vs SD $8700

Matty Ice is off to the best start of his career thus far and he gets a matchup at home against a poor Chargers secondary this week. Atlanta’s team total is currently the highest in the league, sitting at 31 points right now. This game has all the makings of a shootout and I’m going to want extreme exposure to Matt Ryan this weekend.

GPP Goat: Colin Kaepernick vs TB $6500

As I keep scrolling through quarterbacks on my Fanduel app, I keep finding myself staring at Kaepernick and his $6500 price tag. Just look at some of the quarterbacks priced equally or near Kaep and tell me he isn’t underpriced. Fitzpatrick, Gabbert, Stanton and Landry Jones to name a few. Kaepernick isn’t what he once was when he led the Niners to a Super Bowl, but I believe he still has some talent hidden somewhere. He very well may unleash some of that talent against a Buccaneers defense that ranks near the bottom in a lot of defensive statistics. For the price tag and the upside, I love him in gpp this Sunday.

Cash Goat: DeMarco Murray vs IND $8700

I am going to do everything in my power to roster Murray in cash on Sunday. He has at least 20 touches in the last 4 games and has scored over 12 fanduel points every week so far. The Colts defense is horrible ranked 30th overall and 25th against the rush, and just got ran all over last week by Lamar Miller. Murray is more talented than Miller and could very well see similar results this week. Murray has an extremely high floor in this matchup, making him a cash game lock for me.

GPP Goat: Jacquizz Rodgers @ SF $5600

I will probably play Rodgers in cash too to be honest, but I’m going to stick him in the gpp section for now. Doug Martin isn’t playing again Sunday and Rodgers will be in for a ton of work. San Francisco ranks dead last in the NFL against the rush and just gave up over 300 rushing yards last week against the Bills. That isn’t a typo. Fire up Rodgers with confidence this week, he’s an amazing value play at only $5600.

Cash Goat: Allen Robinson vs OAK $8400

As a season long owner of Robinson, I’ve been waiting for a breakout game this season. I think I’m going to finally get it this week against an Oakland Raiders defense ranked dead last in the NFL against the pass. I’m expecting Robinson to seek at least 10 targets on Sunday and should gain at least 100 yards. That’s the floor for Robinson. Add in any touchdown(s) he might get and you have an extremely high ceiling. He’s another cash lock for me on Sunday.

A bonus cash game near lock this Sunday is Jarvis Landry VS BUF $7000.

GPP Goat: Allen Hurns vs OAK $6000

I’ll take the other Jacksonville WR for GPP because of everything I just stated about Oakland’s poor secondary. He should be low owned and is very affordable at $6000 on fanduel. Hurns is talented enough that he can have himself big games when defenses are focused on shutting down Allen Robinson. I love both wideouts this weekend.

Hunter Henry @ ATL $5800

Antonio Gates appears to be healthy now but that isn’t stopping me from playing Henry this week. Phillip Rivers might be in line for a lot of pass attempts in an anticipated shootout, and Henry appears to be one of his favorite targets. He has scored 3 straight weeks as well as scoring at least 14 fanduel in all of those contests.

GPP Goat: Tyler Eifert vs CLE $6000

Eifert appears to be making his season debut this week against the Cleveland Browns who rank 26th in the NFL against the pass. Last season Eifert was as consistent as they come at tight end position. I think he’ll be low owned because it’s his first week back, but I could easily see Andy Dalton and the Bengals wanting to get him some action in his first game back.

Baltimore Ravens @ NYJ $4800

The Baltimore Ravens are playing the New York Jets this Sunday who are starting Geno Smith at QB. That’s all you need to know here.

Adam Vinatieri @ TEN $4900

Vinatieri hasn’t missed a field goal since Nam’ and averages a whopping 13 FD points this season. Fire him up in your lineups and expect a respectable 10-15 FD points again  from the veteran kicker this Sunday.
